Variable Return
The Deposit Notes do not carry a fixed rate of interest. Variable Return, if any, will be an amount in Canadian dollars determined by the formula:

Where:
“Final Index Level” is the level of the Index at the Closing Time on the Final Index Level Date while “Initial Index Level” is the level of the Index at the Closing Time on the Issue Date.
